East Oxford School of Ballet

Spring Term 2010

  • Pre-Primary Ballet: dancing games for 3–5 year-olds.
  • Primary Ballet develops the skills already learned and introduces more formal elements of dance training. For 5–7 year-olds.
  • General Grades build a foundation of classical ballet technique along with free movement and character dance.
  • Higher Grades develop the artistry of the student through increasingly complex and demanding choreography.
  • Vocational Grades are designed for the serious and talented student who may wish to pursue a career in ballet.
  • Modern allows children and students to explore another style of theatrical dance, expressing themselves more freely and to a wide range of contemporary music.
  • Musical Theatre: dancing, acting, singing, and lots of fun!
  • GCSE Dance prepares students for the AQA qualification. It involves the practical skills of dance and choreography as well as the analysis of set dance works.

          Fees

          Payment is for a whole term, which is usually eleven weeks long.

          A term’s written notice, or payment in lieu, is required if your child stops attending classes. This enables me to offer a place to a child on the waiting list.

          There is a discount when individuals or members of the same family attend two or more classes per week between them:

          • 2 classes per week – 10% discount on the second class;
          • 3 or more classes per week – 10% discount on the total bill.

          Example: You have one child who attends two classes per week and another child who attends one class per week. They attend three classes per week between them so you will get a discount of 10% on your total bill.

          To obtain the discount, you must pay by half-term.

          Please make cheques payable to Mrs Penny Cullerne-Bown.
