Hair:

Hair must be suitably dressed for all classes.  This means very tightly tied back and, for ballet, secured in a neat bun with hairpins and a hairnet.  I can supply these, with a brush and hair ties, in a little kit, for £3 – see order form.

From Primary onwards (it is less of an issue for 3 – 5 year olds), children should please wear the correct uniform for their level.  This helps them to feel a pride in their appearance and a sense of identification with the school and with the art of Ballet.  All teachers are under instruction to enforce the wearing of the correct clothing for class.  By supplying it to you through the school, we make it as affordable as possible; many parents find clothing even more cheaply through Ebay.  Thank you for your co-operation in encouraging the children to attend all classes appropriately dressed.
